I loved this first book that provides the setup for the Vino and Veritas world. If you’re looking for a lot of angst, this might not be the book for you, but if you’re looking for a great book with some sexy times than look no further. When we meet Harrison, I wasn’t sure what to think. He’s got this whole buttoned up and afraid to get his loafers dirty thing happening. He pitches in to wrangle some chickens and the whole plot is set in motion. Our resident, sexy chicken farmer is Finn. He’s a Vermonter born and bred. He’s sure that Harrison’s a bad bet, but that doesn’t stop the flirting or the attraction they both seem to feel. Filled with adorable side characters and fun animals, this is a feel good read that just makes you smile and remember when grown ups actually communicated like adults. Oh, and if I didn’t already love ducks, I surely would now.
