I'm a little disappointed in The Ex talk.
I love the Enemies to Lovers trope and really thought this was going to knock it out of the park. The first 100 pages of this book was so good. The chemistry was hot and I genuinely loved how we could see their guards coming down.
That's when it all went down hill.
Shay is literally the most annoying protagonist I've ever read. She blames everyone else for her lonliness when the truth is she hasn't put any effort into trying to make friends. She had so many opportunities and just decided to go home? I'm not mad that I read this book but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend this book to others either. If you want good Enemies to Lovers romance then read 'The Unhoneymooners' or 'The Hating Game'.
