This is the type of story that I believe you can only tell through comics. Artists can do things on paper with drawings, perspective, and language that bring them together to create a sense of time or emotion or being in ways that are not possible in prose novels or movies.
I withheld giving the book 5 stars because it seems some of the storytelling is a little confusing at the beginning of the book and some passages can get almost too abstract to connect with the reader.
