This book has a very specific voice, which made it a fun read but was also a bit jarring as it was clearly the author’s writing style that sometimes attempted to disguise itself as a character’s voice, except all characters exhibited this voice. The distinctive Emphasis put on specific words was fun, but occasionally took me out of the story as every character spoke/thought like this.
