I've been in "I need a puppy!" mode lately, and the introduction of Mouse (for most of the book "the little notch-eared puppy") just added fuel to the fire. The revelations just keep coming for Dresden -- but as usual he manages to survive everything that's thrown at him, even if as a result he's off any sort of fire magic for a while. I have to admit, that while I love the opening line "The building was on fire, and it wasn't my fault," it becomes less amusing knowing where the book leads for Dresden.
