Jessica Jones: Alias, Vol. 1 by Brian Michael Bendis

5.0

I'm finally reading Jessica Jones, and it's interesting to see that in the nine issues that make up this first volume, not one mention has been made yet of the Purple Man. He was such a central figure in the first season of the TV series, but he's absent so far in the comics, at least explicitly.

That aside, this first volume is really good. Bendis' writing is sharp and his dialogue punchy and natural, and Gaydos' noir-inspired artwork is the perfect complement.
