Originally published January 1st, 1934.
Almost 91 years later, this really holds up well (barring some profiling and language that were common at the time).
This follows Christie's famous, French, Detective Hercule Poirot, as he's aboard a train that's been caught in a heavy snowstorm. While the passengers are waiting on the tracks to be cleared, someone has been brutally murdered in one of the 1st class sleeper cars. With Poirot's reputation, he's asked to help solve the crime.
With as old as this book is, it moves at a surprisingly good, steady pace. The characters are interesting, and the plot is complex and a little devious in places. I did see the end coming but it was a fun little journey to get there.
Glad I have more Agatha Christie to read.
