lmaao this book was so good when I listened to it in JUNE and I wanted to dive into book 2 right away.. but alas it's still sitting in my audible app unlisten(ed?) to. So, long story short - I SUCK.
Trying To Live With the Dead was a pretty entertaining book that I can sort of remember. Mostly because I am a sucky reader and never dove into the rest of the series (yet). I swear on my dog's life (yes only one of them because both of them would be too much swearing) that I will get through this series before the end of the year.
In it, you will meet Alexis. She sort of see's dead people and thinks that this one interesting fact will make her a loner for life. Yet, it does the exact opposite for her. She ends up finding a nice group of friends who are definitely intrigued by her. These guys end up supporting her because.. I honestly have no idea what else they were supposed to do? Run? Banish her? Kill her?
They obviously took the less messy way out but in the end, I think they all learned something about her unique power. Which in a way, brought them all closer together. It also doesn't hurt that it's a RH book because I was down for everything that was happening. Heck, I wanted a lot more to happen because NOTHING romantic happened at all. It was all friendly crap.. so I'm really hoping that the next book will give me something.
