Well good news (for me):
Julie and Selena break up!
Bad news:
Julie is not taking this as a chance to work on herself and her issues. Selena was kind of mean in her break up speech, honestly, but some of what she said wasn't wrong. (And can we please talk about the irony of Selena saying that she's spent so much time with Julie's friends and yet Julie can't handle spending one afternoon with Selena's friend, even though Selena actually can't handle Julie spending time with CT, just Chet and Manuel. Girl please, you've got issues too, and Julie might not have been a great girlfriend to you, but you weren't great to her either.)


I did love the mermaid lake and Skyla!! I love Skyla. She's so cool. And Kit is certainly. . . interesting.

There was clearly the intent to continue this series, based on the ending of this volume and the author's note, but it's been a while and I can't find any information about another volume coming at some point, so if you're someone who can't stand series that feel unfinished (or actually are unfinished), I would stop at volume two.
