I have mixed feelings on this one. I loved the stories, and the structures, the little magical bits. Yet I had serious problems keeping characters apart. Even when the story would switch the voice would sound the same. I could put the book down for 15 minutes and come back and wouldn't be clear on who was who. This is a problem I rarely have, especially with short stories. I don't know if it was just me or the pacing of the stories, which in parts was almost frenzied and in others very slow.
I'm stuck in the middle on this one. I don't know if I loved it or I didn't. I certainly don't regret reading it, that's for sure. I enjoyed it overall.
