Quinn by Iris Johansen

4.0

Enjoyed reading/learning how Joe Quinn came to meet Eve Duncan and how/why they relationship is the way it is. In some of the previous novels we've only gotten a glimpse into Joe and most of it was from Eve's perspective. It's interesting to have Joe's character fleshed out a lot more and to understand why he is the way he is and to understand the decision he makes. Once again Ms. Johansen crafts a tale that not only takes you on a journey but allows you to feel the emotions of the characters in each scene. Not to give anything away about the book but while knowing there are 3 books to resolve the crime surrounding Bonnie's death, I suspected that the killer wasn't who we thought it was. I can't wait to learn who the killer is and to close this chapter in Eve Duncan's life.
