A fox who falls in love with humans, their stories, and the language that he learns to speak (and read) “human”. He quickly learns that humans are not all they’re cracked up to be when he loses his habitat, food, den, and friends to humans.

It’s sad, it’s silly, it’s eye-opening. I recommend reading a physical copy of this book rather than through audio, as the text is written phonetically and some jokes might be missed otherwise. Also, there are some rather cute simple line illustrations.
