The Lioness
by Chris Bohjalian
It’s been a while since I’ve read this author. This sounded like an interesting premise, jump on the library audio waitlist. The structure of the book is told from multiple perspectives, all of who are part of a large entourage of a famous actress set in the 60’s who go on an African safari. They are kidnapped and from there you wonder why. Or maybe you don’t. There was a lot going on and it wasn’t until the end that you find out why Katie and her group were kidnapped. I think it had a fast pace of sorts but a lot of characters sidebars.
