This is so hard to read but it’s so good. The gruesome details that are painted are a bit much and I did lowkey have to skip over some bits because it’s about snuff films like let’s be real. .
My first Karin slaughter book and she just pulls you in right away. This was published in 2015 but reading it 10yrs later with the nonstop Tesla talk and almost like product placement in the book was a HARD hurdle to get over lol.
I knew right away what direction the book was going, and I think that’s clear to whoever reads it, but even knowing what’s going to happen, it’s still shocking and you are still immersed in the story.
