**I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review**
Oh boy, what a ride! Vessel of Woven Night is the fourth installment in the Rowan Blood series and is by far the longest. Overall, I ended up quite liking the book a lot. Once again, we learn more about the world; both its history and its magic and it lends itself quite well to the building lore and tension of the story. There were several reveals that were set-up incredibly well and I always felt very clever for figuring them out a few chapters before Saffron did, but that is a compliment to the writing! Everything was woven (ha!) together so well.
I will say, for me, the first about 45% of the book dragged a bit. I was intrigued, and I wanted to know what was going to happen to the cast of characters that I had grown to love over the past books, but during the first half I just was waiting for the plot to get going. It was a little frustrating, but once I got past that point, it was so hard to put it down. Once the plot got going, it did not stop and I was absolutely sucked in. I loved seeing just how much Saffron had grown as a character from the first book, but still retained what made him Saffron at his core.
I can't wait for the next one!
