It was a very detailed account that showed the impact addiction has on a family. I struggled with it being a story about a well-off white family though; I feel that if we heard this story from a black family, it would have a completely different reaction from the general public. I think it would be beneficial to have stories similar to this from different families across racial and socio-economic lines.
