Shine Not Burn by Elle Casey
4.0

4 stars!

I loved, loved this book! It was funny, sweet, sexy and with a hot cowboy!

I really liked Elle Casey's writting, I'm looking forward to read more from her.

I saw a lot of wonderful reviews about this one, so of course I got curious. I've read a few stories where Las Vegas had a big role, but 'Shine Not Burn' is with no doubt one of my favorites so far. Everything was described perfectly, things happened at the right pace, at the right moment.

You can see the evolution in Andie's character. And I fell in love with Mack right away. He was perfect. He never gave up on Andie, and it broke my heart a little when he was sad about losing her. And she was stubborn as hell! I wouldn't think twice if I had that sexy cowboy head over heels in love with me.

The sex scenes were something else. Hot doesn't even come close. I enjoyed reading them a lot.

The secondary characters were awesome too, well developed and very likeable (except for Puke and That Bradley and Hannah Banana).

The humor in this story was another of my favorite things. Some of the situations were so hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing. And the end was great
SpoilerI totally loved the vows Andie wrote that night in Vegas. I was smiling all the time during that scene while Mack read them
.

This book was what I needed right now, after reading a bunch of books lately that didn't reach my heart. I highly recommend it!
