What an incredibly special book. This one had me hooked from the very beginning.

The strength of Hallie was inspiring. Her character has been through so much, but she is able to move through life without letting her fear hold her back, no matter how difficult it is.

Lawson has a silent strength that he uses to protect everyone he loves. His heart is so big, and I love that he was so vulnerable about his fear of opening up to Hallie .

And the BOYS. I dont think I've ever loved child characters in a romance more than I love Luke, Drew, and Charlie. They are all unique and special in their own way. Lukes tenser heart. Drew's infectious optimism. Charlie's sweet innocence.

It was truly a pleasure reading how Hallie developed special relationships with each of them and helped piece Lawson and his family back together.

And the suspense of the story! It moved at a fast pace, and there were many twists and turns. The storyline is grim and dark, so check trigger warnings. But it was integral to the story and helping make these charactwrs who they are.

What an end to the series. It was perfect, I couldn't ask for more!
