In Your Dreams, Holden Rhodes by Stephanie Archer

This is a cute and light book with not a lot of tension and plenty of happy moments.
In the first two books, I figured something traumatic had happened to Holden in a relationship. Turns out he's just terrible at socializing and insecure about being worthy of love.
Sadie, on the other hand... damn, I'd be traumatized if something like that happened to me too. The fact that she still kept some trust within her and gave people the benefit of the doubt is incredible.
This one felt very "Hallmark movie" to me. There’s not a lot of conflict, and whatever issues they have are explored superficially and resolved almost immediately.
I think I'm ready to read something darker again.
