I knocked it down from a 4.25 because of the truly heinous things said toward the end by the mmc. Literally he could have said less than half of what he did and it would have still gotten the same end goal without the horrific and disgusting and scary tone shift. I’m never trusting that man again and probably won’t be finishing the series even though it was fun because of that and also because it’s not available through my library
