Ohhh this was so beautiful!! I'm so glad I picked it up! I'm a big fan of historical fiction because it shines light on often forgotten stories, and Sepetys' writing often exemplify that. It was just really compelling and enlightening to read, along with its haunting quality which just makes it truly unique. Now this wasn't a favorite for me, but it was still an exceptional book that I'd highly recommend!
