A Man Without a Country by Kurt Vonnegut

3.0

The book appeared in our house at some point. I forget if it was from a Little Free Library but I'm guessing it was dumped on a curb along with a bunch of other books by the author. Or otherwise was from someone purging a set of books.

It was short and fairly innocuous. It was mostly vaguely humorous angry diatribes on the stolen George W. Bush election and the evil 2nd Gulf War. And about basically the United States not being great. It talked a lot about the evils of oil and the approaching of running out of oil.

It was a quick read. And really sad in the sense that things really do change. And in some ways they get better. And in other ways they don't.
