Tessa Bailey is one of my automatic purchase authors - if she writes it, I will buy it and read it immediately. She has a definite style and this book carries on in the sexy tradition of dirty-talking alpha males who don't just love their women, they obsess about them. I loved that this one had a great suspenseful action story to go along with a sexy love story in Ms. Bailey's inimitable style. They are never long enough for me, but it was still great. Henrik is big, bad and naughty and I loved him to death. One of my favorite Bailey heroes to date.
This story wraps up not one but two series by Ms. Bailey (Crossing the Line and Line of Duty), but can still be read as a standalone - although you will enjoy it more if you read the others first, at least the Crossing the Line series. All of the characters from this series are so fun, quirky and interesting. And this book wraps everything up nicely.
As always, a satisfying read from Ms. Tessa Bailey and I'm looking forward to the next one!
