First of all this book scared the crap out of me in the first half so I wouldn’t recommend reading it if you’re easily scared and especially if you live alone. I thought the ending was definitely satisfying and I loved how the book draft was throughout but you didn’t realize who was writing it until the end. However there were some scenes that drug on forever and made me want to DNF but then he would have a twist happen right when you were on the verge of quitting. I really liked the main character, she’s scrappy and real. I’m a huge dog person so I absolutely loved the dog throughout and that the author didn’t kill her!!! He did their inner dialogue really well, it added some lightness to the really tough moments.
