I loved this take on the King Arthur/Lady of the Lake/Mordred/Merlin story. It’s so different in that it’s not exactly a retelling per se, but shows how the story can be skewed over time (sometimes purposefully) and the impact of them on the world in the present day (with some fey thrown in of course!). I loved how all the characters developed throughout the series and that we were able to “understand” the pasts of some of our more…complicated…characters. C.N. Crawford never fails to make me fall in love with their world building, plots and characters. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
