Told entirely through e-mails between the main character and her friends, we get a peek at the jet-set life of a travel writer of a column called "Wish You Were Here." Though the life sounds glamorous, it becomes apparent that despite five star hotels and enough frequent flyer miles to flit off to Europe at a moment's notice, sometimes all you need is a reason to come home. Chris Dyer creates fabulous, unique characters that you root for until the very end.
