The Cat Who Saved Books
by Sōsuke Natsukawa
A refreshing, touching, and entertaining book. I enjoyed it. I wanted something cheerful to read, and because I love both cats and books I chose this book. I wasn't dissapointed. This book is a coming of age story and I think it's suitable for kids. The story confronts grief in a nice way. The book gives some interesting and nice perspectives in appreciating books. I was happy that the story has preserved Japanese language / culture.
