This book is only 50 pages. I figured we would meet the characters and they would start screwing 10 pages in. Wrong! There is so much story here. I LOVED that Cassie noticed Nick first. I haven’t read many short novellas where that happens. I loved both characters back stories and Nick’s little girl is the cutest. When I want a short, fun read this is exactly what I’m wanting. There is a hot steamy scene, placed in the book perfectly! It would have been a 5⭐️ until Nick did something that made me mad. It’s in the spoilers below. 

SPOILER:

WHY do men think because the woman gets pregnant he needs to propose? When he said that he bought the ring 8 weeks ago, the day they found out Cassie was pregnant, I was instantly pissed. I would have been like ummmm no. Put it away and propose later not when you feel like you have to 🙄 it’s probably just me.
