To sum this book up in a few words: it was a very good read.
The author really took you back into the heart of the flu pandemic and made you feel the fear that all of the citizens of America must have felt at that time.
The book was heartbreaking in a lot of ways, and being a mother it tore at my heart strings while reading it. I just kept hoping for a happy ending, but throughout the book it took me on an emotional roller coaster ride.
