The Arrangement by Kiersten Modglin
4.0

I started reading “The Arrangement” after someone reviewed it on social media, and to be honest, the beginning hooked me right away. The premise was fresh and the main character had just enough mystery and edge to keep me turning the pages. I was intrigued by the whole “arrangement” setup—definitely not your typical romance.

As the story unfolded, there were a few plot twists that caught me off guard—in a good way. Just when I thought I had figured out where it was going, something unexpected would happen, which kept the tension up and made it hard to put down. But I’ll admit, as things ramped up toward the end, it started to feel a bit... far-fetched. Some of the choices the characters made didn’t quite land for me, and the ending felt a little over-the-top, like it was trying too hard to shock or surprise.

Still, for reasons I can’t fully explain, I *do* want to keep reading the series. Maybe it’s the characters, maybe it’s the writing, or maybe I just need to see how this whole wild ride plays out. It’s flawed, but addictive.
