Volume 5 lived up to the hype. I love Nick and Charlie so much, and following them through this conversation of intimacy and codependency was so beautiful. Normally reading teenage sex scenes gives me the ick, but this didn't feel like that. And the discussions are very relatable and real. Tori is still my hero, but now Charlie is my hero too! He's really growing up, minus the tantrum, and it warms my heart. I was thinking Nick felt a little too perfect, but seeing his cracks made me love him even more. And he has a little cheeky side, who has had me cackling! I just finished this book, but I'll probably read it again this week. I don't want the story to end, but I'm also really excited for volume six.
