The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan
4.0
This book escaped the doom known as a 3.5 I give 3 stars to. The end really solidified this book for me and made up for the boredom I felt at the beginning.
Once the action started going, I found myself really enjoying this book. I felt like Frank and Hazel were interesting and was really glad to have Percy again and really enjoyed all his points in the narration.
I definitely don't hold this as high as I do The Lost Hero simply due to the beginning lacking for me, but I won't disregard that I liked it.
Favorite quote: "'What are these guys?' he whispered. 'Canadians,' Percy said."
^ a lot of golden moments came from Percy and also the horse (guess it comes with being brothers), but I found the Canadian comments to be pretty good.... sorry Frank
