Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak

5.0

When Mallory gets the job of being nanny to 5 year old Teddy she is over the moon. She’s on the road to recovery from being addicted to drugs and sees this as the perfect opportunity for a new fresh start. She is given her own purpose built, new renovated cottage in the grounds of her employers house in the affluent suburbs of Spring Brook.

All is going well until she starts finding seriously creepy and disturbing pictures drawn by Teddy which feature his imaginary friend Anya. Despite Teddy’s pencils and crayons being confiscated the pictures just keep coming and a frightening story starts to emerge about a woman who has been murdered.

Wow! What an amazing thriller this is!! It’s a deliciously creepy blend of the paranormal and outright suspense. It’s so cleverly done and the added pictures throughout the book really help suck you in and feel totally involved in the plot. Brilliantly plotted, littered with incredible twists and turns and bursting with downright spookiness - all masterfully combined to make sure that your hands and eyes will stay glued to this book until you’ve finished it!! I was absolutely riveted!! Highly recommended by me!
