“Belief isn’t simply a thing for fair times and bright days, I think. What is belief — what is faith — if you don’t continue in it after failure.” - Sazed
I had very high hopes for this. around 30% I was enjoying it but was nervous that I had overhyped it. Sanderson’s prose is sometimes plain and mechanical, which took me out of the story at times, but once I was in the groove and settled into the world, I ate it up! I loved the characters and am so impressed with how the story comes together, it’s unbelievably satisfying.
Vin: I love him.
me: girl, what? ..ok
Marsh showing up as an Inquisitor had me hootin’ and hollerin’ !!! what a reveal
