Black Sheep by Brynne Weaver, Alexa Harlowe

Haven’t you figured it out yet, Dr. Kaplan? You may think you have a demon in you…” I say as ai step toward him. I place my hands on his chest and rise up on my tiptoes to whisper in his ear. “But I’m the devil he worships in the night.”

Bria Brooks is not what everyone thinks she is. Underneath her sweet exterior she's dark and twisted - a serial killer with revenge on the brain. Dr. Elijah Kaplan is a professor at Bria's college who can't seem to get her out of his head - he recognizes the darkness within her that he sees in himself.

THIS BOOK WAS SO FREAKING GOOD. I ATE THIS SHIT UP SO FAST AND LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT. It was perfection. Bria is amazing and I love a good serial killer romance. I enjoyed how she toyed with Kaplan at first, but then realized she could connect with him like no one else. I like their relationship and the growth that Bria goes through.

That spice though! Oh my goodness. I was definitely sweating while reading it haha Those scenes were so so so good and so well written. I could not get enough of them. I loved the "darker" sid that Kaplan had and it was a perfect pairing to Bria's.

The ending was spectacular. Kaplan giving her that "gift?" Perfection. I loved this book so much and I am so excited to read more by these authors!
