I loved this book so much! Most of the book is two characters talking but their conversation is so full of tension I had to keep reading to find out what was happening. The descriptions of the island of Kauai and the storm were so vivid, I felt like I was there, and the descriptions of the food made me so hungry. I would say the main themes are motherhood and mental illness, so if you love thrillers that explore these themes, definitely read this one!
