Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater
5.0
Holy crap.
I literally finished reading this book less than ten minutes ago, and WOAH.
I loved it!! I mean, I knew I would since I loved the Raven Cycle and this is essentially a spin-off trilogy of it. But I still loved it!!
That ending though was just CRUEL. I don't know how I'm going to possibly wait a whole year for it. I neeeeeeed more.
Anyway.
This book was great in many ways. The plot was very interesting and the concept of dreamers is such a fascinating kind of magic. It's a really unique kind of magic too; you don't usually read books that include magic that allows certain people to take their dreams out of their heads. The characters were awesome, apart from the Moderators. They sucked. The way pretty much all of the characters were linked together really drew me in, too. When they started coming together, it was actually satisfying for me haha.
Let me say that there were one or two tears at two points in this book. It made me sad and I loved it even more for it :)
I get that this is brief, but that's purely 'cause I suck at reviews :p I would totally recommend this if you liked the Raven Cycle, and if you want to read this book but haven't read the Raven Cycle, I'd advise you read that first. You'll understand everything a bit better with that previous knowledge :)
