First Comes Love by Emily Giffin

4.0

This was definitely not my favorite book by Emily Giffin, but all the same I couldn't put the book down and finished it in less than a day.

I think this book is different from others that she's done in that it wasn't about romantic love, but familial love in different forms, and I think that is relatable.

Her characters are not as likable as other books, but maybe that was the point. I felt that Josie's personality wasn't the best match for her job as a teacher other than that she liked kids. I will say I liked Gabe the most out of all the characters. His loyalty as a friend is admirable and frankly a little uncommon these days.

Overall not my favorite, but still the same Giffin style we love!
