This was not at all what I was expecting when I picked up this book because I thought the title looked really interesting... But I still liked it!
The writing is incredibly beautiful, and just gives off this vibe of sadness the entire time. I wasn't expecting it to be dystopia, but that made the whole concept of the book more eerie in my opinion. Like your worst nightmare come true.
There are so many unanswered questions at the end, but considering the narrator that is to be expected. I didn't mind it at all, it made the book more realistic.
Loved the writing of the ending of the book in particular, mainly because of the way pain was written about. As someone who has chronic pain and experiences it every single day, the way the characters pain gets described hit me very hard.
Would highly recommend this book!
