Maisie Dobbs by Jacqueline Winspear
4.0
Ah, Winspear had me at the epigram--a Wilfred Owen poem and a mention of Craiglockhart Hospital. There simply cannot be too many novels set in post-WWI Britain for my tastes. How did I miss this series for 15 books?! The writing is a little stilted, which I'm hoping will improve as the series continues, but even still, this was an enjoyable read (and bonus points for being appropriate historical fiction for teens).
