I probably should say something all moral and noble about how murdering rapists, predators and serial abusers is bad (and IRL I’m not usually one for vigilante justice), but it’s hard not to cheer a stone cold female killer seeking revenge on horrible men. My main complaint with this book, however, is that there’s very little tension in it. You know, the kind that makes you both eager for and dreading to turn the next page to see what happens? It’s missing here and the story suffers because of it. Also, not a huge fan of the chapter to chapter time jumps. I don’t hate them as a general rule, I just don’t think it served the plot in this book. Otherwise, I think it was fairly entertaining and would probably make a decent Netflix series.
