I didn't think I was going to enjoy this book, but I loved it. A rabid dog, intense summer heat and family dramas - what could possibly go wrong?

It was creepy, intense and horrifying. The characters were well written and immensely enjoyable to read and King being King you can expect brutality, and moments where you have to stop reading and absorb everything that is happening, because it will have you on the edge of your seat and at moments feeling squeamish.

The only reason I didn't rate this as a 5 star read was due to not completely enjoying Vic and Rogers sections of the book, I found the business talk a tad boring and I would have liked more of the story to have focused on Cujo, Donna and Tad. Otherwise, for me this was a near perfect book and one of my favourites from King. A definite page turner.
