Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad

I don't have a lot to say about this book. Even though I finished reading it within the last few days, I can barely remember anything that happened. If you were to read me a passage, I would remember having read it, but I can't tell you what this was about beyond what I knew going into it, which was very limited.

My reading experience with this reminded me a lot of what happened for me when I read Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer. They aren't particularly similar stories, though both involve an expedition of sorts, but my experience with them is very much the same.
