The Red Woman and the White Bear by Fern A. Ellis
5.0
This was such a wonderful story. Aisling is brought into the world of the Fae, and into the battle between Unseelie and Seelie. From being a place she only heard stories about from her mother, to her brutal reality and a fate that could change the course of their world, this land is now her future, for better or worse.
Kael is the Unseelie king, and he's thrown by Aisling's presence. More importantly though, he seems to find some kind of solace in it as well. As he takes her for his prisoner and he tries to work out why he can't let her go, she plans a way to escape and ends up in the hands of another monster entirely.
Through war, prophecies, and seemingly endless battles of power and politics, Aisling and Kael will begin to realize that together they may have a chance. But only if fate allows it.
