i genuinely thought the order of the phoenix is my fave but i enjoy this more. a certain balance of adventure plot with slice of life friendship a la potterverse, that is certainly endearing. the darker elements from the rise of murderous leader, mixed with the homey asoects of hogwarts, is why the harry potter series endured the test of time.
