I'm so happy I read this book before starting Carter's set because while this gave you Sebastian and Chloe's story, it also let you peek inside of Carter and part of the reason why he became the person he became. I loved Bastian and his protectiveness and love for Chloe for all those years. The way he felt about her was the way you want a man to feel about you. He kept pushing her away so she had a chance to reach her potential but when they both saw that she was stuck because of her own grief they came together to heal each other. This was an awesome book!
