History of the Bolshevik Party: A Popular Outline
by F.F. Zinoviev, Grigory Zinoviev
There is no Marxist tendency out there that really recognizes Zinoviev and his contributions to the movement, likely due to his behaviour right before the Russian Revolution, and his later many capitulations between Trotsky and Stalin which ended up getting him killed. Regardless, this was a well-written and detailed text that, for the most part, gets the details of the Bolshevik party right and places its members and activities against the backdrop of many historical events in Russia from its beginnings up to February 1917. I think it's a text worth reading to understand the many personalities and groups in this revolutionary time period.
