again, just like with Kiley Reid's new novel, one of the pov's the story is told is that of a white character who is a gentrifier.  this is absolutely unnecessary,  uninteresting and boring as hell. and since the author writes romance novels as well, I wouldn't be surprised if it turns into some palmitagem mess.
