Exodus 20:3 by Freydís Moon

To everyone who has been shouting about this book : you were right. it's fantastic.

" It was rugged-the atmosphere, the land, the job-and haunted, somehow. "

the setting is unique, renovating an old church. the close proximity, the religious setting, the very vibes are screaming about what is going to happen later.

" He felt seen again. As if Ariel had yanked back his ribs and peeked inside. "

for a novella, this was perfection. we got the perfect amount of backstory to care about Diego and the exact amount of interactions to built this relationship with Ariel and make me invested in them.

" Hope was dangerous, so he'd never given himself the chance to dream. "

now i need to read everything by Freydís Moon
