This book was pretty bad. I didn’t care about any of the characters, I don’t particularly believe that stripping is empowering, the setting was so bland… it was just bland. It wasn’t sexy OR philosophical, and this book needed to be one or the other to be successful. Two stars because the sentence, “my body had no dominant characteristics. Short hair, pudgy fingers, the sad-eyed gaze of a child soldier” caught me off guard and cracked me up.
